Patch- Tai's pet and partner for his Beast tamers act in CoF.
He's about the size of a German Shepard Dog, and is based on a mixture of, Kangaroo rat, gerbil and Tasmanian devil.

As a twili like creature he had the ability to turn and use the fur at the end of his tail as a hand. He'll eat just about anything but he prefers Apples and will go out his way to get one and is obsessed with them.
He's quite the acrobat. Tai has taught him a great deal of tricks including singing which sounds something between whistling and humming (Think the way Gizmo from gremlins sings),

-He communicates using a variety of vocalization, thought oddly he can say one word 'Apples'
-when he's not sitting on Tai's shoulder he stays in tai's shadow (like Midna does in Tp)
-Normally friendly if he doesn't like you he will let you know with a Bite which can be quite nasty.
-He will sing along to when Tai's playing his lute.
-he is very protective of Tai.
-He sometimes likes to steal odd things from people, mostly shiny things and nibbles on them trying to figure out what they are. though he knows not to do it in Tai's sight.
